With Breed Mate you can put pedigrees on your web site in three ways.
Static HTML pedigrees - directly produces
.HTM files which can be uploaded to your web site. Use these kind of pedigrees on
your web site if you have a small number of pedigrees, say less than 15, or if your
web site does not support CGI and Perl. BreedMate comes standard with many styles
of web pedigree and of course you can modify them or add your own. A very nice feature
in BreedMate is the ability to set the colors of each individual field, eg put titles in red, registration numbers in
blue and DOB's in green. These HTML
pedigrees can also be easily emailed with our single click feature.
|Picture Pedigrees - these are PNG files (like GIF files). Since these are pictures generated directly from BreedMate they offer a wide variety of very high quality pedigree styles. These graphic pedigrees can also be easily emailed with our single click feature.|
|Dynamic HTML pedigrees - produces database files which can be used by special web pedigree generators to produce web pages on-the-fly as requested by the user. The pedigrees also feature hyperlinks on the ancestors so when someone clicks on an ancestor, the pedigree for that ancestor will be produced.|
