Watermarks

BreedMate can include an optional watermark on any form. These are particularly attractive for pedigrees where the watermark is usually a head shot or side on picture of the same breed of animal described on the pedigree.

Users can of course make up there own watermarks. First start with a good photo of a head or side shot, then crop out the background and increase the brightness (so it doesn't obscure the pedigree).

For BreedMate users who can't create their own watermarks, some of our users have generously donated some watermarks and photos (which we have converted to watermarks).

Please note, these images are provided free of charge for use by registered BreedMate users only and may not be redistributed. The images shown are "thumbnails" only. To download the full image, right click on the image and select Save Picture As.

If you would like to send us any images for placement on our watermarks web page, please follow 
these instructions:

• photo should be either a good head shot or a side shot
• if it's a side shot make sure that no part of the dog/cat is cropped, eg do not send photos 
  of dogs standing in deep grass because the feet will be chopped off
• email support@breedmate.com and include the GIF, PNG or JPG file of your picture with 
  words to the effect "I own copyright in the attached picture and you have my permission to modify and redistribute it in the form of a watermark".
